Forest Friends Easter

Forest Friends has always been a favourite of mine. I used the deer so much for christmas cards and thought why not easter cards with the little rabbit?

I used the floral image and also the solid spotty image stamps from "A Good Egg" to create a background on the card base front and the inside of the card. "Easter Wishes" from Occasional Greetings was stamped inside on the crease of the score line.

I matted with 3 layers, sandwiching Barely Banana between the two Certainly Celery textured cardstock layers. The frame stamped in Certainly Celery comes from Frames with a Flourish and the "happy easter" sentiment from A Good Egg.

The inside of the card in Certainly Celery textured cardstock had an oval aperture cut out. Textured cardstock does not take to stamping quite as clearly as Whisper White card stock, so I stamped the tree on Whisper White, cut it out, then adhered to the textured card stock and did the same for all the rabbits.

I drew some grass with SU's Old Olive marker to "tie" the images together.
