Razzle Dazzle #3

In this series of Razzle Dazzle samples, they are just card fronts and were part of a batch I did for the Brighton show. So if you're wondering about the inside - there isn't one! By doing card fronts for an exhibition, this allows the cards to lie flat. If they're actual cards, they tend to pop open whilst being displayed on the boards. From an economy viewpoint, it meant I could design 4 different cards out of a sheet of A4.

With the help of the Color Coach, I used this colour combo - Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive and Whisper White. first I worked on the Rich Razzleberry and Melon Mambo layers. I used the Stamp-amajig to help me position the rows of patterns seamlessly using Melon Mambo ink then adhered all layers together as pictured. I tied a length of 1/4" Whisper White grosgrain ribbon round the centre.

Next I inked the image in the same colours with Stampin' Write Markers, huffed on the stamp to re-moisten it, then stamped image on to Whisper White card stock. These were then layered onto Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry and then adhered on top of the ribbon.

The last touch was to add a sentiment, punched out with the Word Window punch and layered on to a Rich Razzleberry Modern Label piece.

  1. I love the way you are showing loads of different ways to use this stamp set. Love the way you have created your own DSP with those rows of images.
