Scentsational #2

I love shaped cards.  Most of the time we make bog standard cards for speed.  When preparing for an event I make so many bog standard cards, it was quite nice to do something a little different.

We have a new embossing folder - woodgrain, and I thought that would be great for the trunk of a tree - hence this card was born!  Glimmer paper punched with a variety of border punches acted as tinsel to dress the tree!  There's a wonderful pack of DSP called Festival of Prints (page 20), 48 sheets in the pack measuring 11.4 x 16.5 cm, just right for cards.

Here's the inside.  I had to extend the card to balance it at the bottom, hence the green strips to hide the join!

What do you think?  You like?  Leave me a comment!
