Brother-in-Law's birthday card

This card is Night of Navy, Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie and the stamp is from my personal collection so by the time this post is scheduled to appear on the blog it may be on the retired list.  Anyhow, as it's for my personal use, it doesn't really matter.  I often hang on to the masculine type stamp sets as there is less choice for men than there are for women.

I stamped in Black Stazon ink, then coloured in five of the images.  I stamped another tie on a scrap of Whisper White cardstock, cut it out and raised it on dimensionals to adhere on top of original piece.

My brother-in-law is quite a keen gardener, so I stamped this wheelbarrow from Summer Afternoon for the inside of the card - it is one of the Hostess sets in the new main Annual Catalogue.

As it's a masculine card, I kept to straight lines and used the cotton twill ribbon rather than pretty textured ribbons.

He loved it!
