Well guys, I'm trying to squeeze in the Valentine type cards before 14 February comes, so not one, but two cards today! This stamp set is called Love you to the Moon.
When making cards for the men in your life, I'm always mindful that it doesn't border on the effeminate! Don't we all? Sale-a-bration is in full swing, and one of the giveaways for each £45 spend is this lovely Decorative Dots TIEF. Embossed directly onto the front of the card, it makes it sing! Just a simple border made by repeatedly stamping the word "Love you" in Night of Navy ink on Whisper White cardstock and layered on to Crushed Curry. I stamped the heart in the Illuminate Glimmer Watermark Stampin' Pad on the Night of Navy Decorative Label piece and embellished it with Regals Candy Dots.
This music note image from the set need not be just for Valentines Day, you could use it all the year round, in my opinion. My card base is Coastal Cabana, and I silver embossed the Music Notes (it's a standard wheel - page 100 in the Annual Catalogue) directly onto the card base. The music note was stamped in Coastal Cabana on Whisper White and punched out with the 1-3/4" circle punch. I also punched out one in Daffodil Delight and offset it and raised them on dimensionals to adhere to the card. I added a Red Glimmer Heart punched out from the Owl Builder punch. So that the card didn't look too stark, I added strips of DSP and glimmer paper and stamped a splatter pattern with Gorgeous Grunge stamp set in Coastal Cabana ink.
For the inside of the card, some Retro Fresh washi tape, and another stamp from the set which says "Hello, you're on my mind"! How cute is that! Want to see what else is in the set?
