MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!

Hellooooo!  It's Christmas!  The Newborn King stamp set is so apt for today!  I stamped with gold Encore ink and gold embossed with a heat tool on Vellum cardstock.  On the reverse side, I used the faux stained glass technique and used blendabilities for the different shades of green!  Can you spot the new product soon to be coming January next year?  Happy Christmas everyone - have a super dooper holiday wherever you are - I hope you are making merry and are enjoying the holiday season with your loved ones.

It's the Night Before Christmas!

I guess almost everyone's buzzing with anticipation on Christmas Eve, especially the children for Santa, families coming together, houses bursting at the seams with extra house guests, presents wrapped and under the tree, the turkey and all the trimmings prepped and ready to go, a larder groaning under the weight with grub to feed the five thousand (kidding about the 5,000!) so if you do happen per chance to be blog surfing,  here's a last minute useful project to adorn your dinner table.

Wishing you all the joy and happiness this Festive Season!

Hooked on Baubles!

Trying to share the remaining christmas cards this year before Christmas!  I'd been putting off using this stamp because I thought the colouring would be time consuming.  I was pleasantly surprised how quick and easy it was - the fussy cutting took longer, wouldn't you know! hehe! - not really, only where the holly leaves were, but the rest was plain sailing.  I used my Project Life journaling pens to draw a border to frame the card.

Here's the list!

Only 2 more sleeps people!  So who's all ready, and pretty chilled about christmas?

Festival of Trees

Oh my, talk about a trip down memory lane.  This was a swap the lovely Sam shared when she was once a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator way back in 2009!  I'm re-visiting this fun-fold as I thought it would suit the Festival of Trees stamp set.  It was also one of the first  techniques I ever taught when I made my first foray into the Stampin' Up! world!

The blank circle is for writing the recipient's name and your signature - in case you're wondering!

Side 3 - Back

Here's the card folded out flat so you can see where I've cut a slot 1cm up from bottom edge and 4 cm in from right corner of square.  The Slot is cut parallel to left edge of square.  You can see my original creation here for some instructions.

Here is a list of the supplies I used - hover on the bottom right of the pictures for more details or click to take you directly to my online store to make a purchase.

So are you ready for christmas?

Christmas Bauble

I'm enjoying using my Blendabilities.    I stamped the bauble on Whisper White, did my colouring then fussy cut the bauble and adhered it to a Crumb Cake layer.  The rebel in me also glued the Crumb Cake layer at a jaunty angle - great modern twist, don't you think?

Hover over the bottom right of picture for more details, or click on any of the items to take you directly to my online store.  You can also access the online store by clicking on the shopping trolley at the top right hand bar of my blog.

Bonus video - Gift tags

As promised, here's the bonus video.

I love Stampin' Up!'s colour co-ordination, everything comes together so quickly and with such pleasing results.  There's such a sense of satisfaction to gift giving when you can add your own personal touch.  These labels were quick and easy to make.    Enjoy!
