Pre-launch Garden Party

It appears that this will be a permanent fixture in my calendar as it's lovely to take our crafting time from "inside" to the "outside" and everyone loves our "Pumpkin" which my visitors refer to as a "hobbit house", "mushroom" and all sorts of other names!

We bought a new gazebo to replace last year's model and it's great because one of the sides of the "wall" flaps up to provide shade on hot summer days.  It also means that I can set up the day before so there isn't any last minute panic on the actual day and it's sufficiently water tight not to worry should the weather change to wet and windy!

I am so excited about the new catalogue - I say this with every new one, I know - but there are some lovely new project kits like the one pictured above which includes a stampin' spot, stamps, accessories and punch outs to make these fabulous cards - 20 altogether, 2 each of 10 designs and you can go on creating because you still have the stamps and ink spot long after you've sent all the cards off!

Here are some of the ladies pouring over the new catty -  it's pretty relaxed and when a space becomes available, the next vanguard will have a turn at the Make & Take.

I am so lucky to have a supportive husband who graciously helped me set up and got the BBQ going - it's a casual affair, so it's jumbo sized hot dogs with or without onion, salads and drinks on tap and they all help themselves.

They say time flies when you're having fun - and it did.  We de-camped and I just chucked all my stuff on the dining table before taking a nap as I didn't get to bed till 3:30 am the night before and was up with the lark to tweak stuff.

Hubby's gone off to meet his buddies for his weekly "Archery" fix so I'm going to put my feet up and tackle this mountain on Monday!

Thank you everyone for coming, if you're reading this, and I will  ask hubby to do the raffle draw when he gets back and will email everyone tomorrow!

Happy Sunday!  Enjoy the Bank Holiday weekend!

FF Vertical Greetings - Back to Basics

This Fun Friday's project is going back to basics - literally!  One stamp set, one ink pad, single layer of card stock, your trimmer and if you're using a clear mount stamp set, then a clear block to mount the stamp on.  Roll video - hope you like it!

Did you know that if you click on the pictures, it will take you direct to the item in my online store which will give you more detail on the product and you can place an order if you wish.  It would be very much appreciated.

Want another Sneak Peek?

This little beauty is called Label Me Pretty, and while I mourn the loss of the Decorative Label punch I think this one is a fabulous replacement and I know I'll enjoy using this one A LOT!!!   I made the sample in the current colours and papers, but also made one in one of the new In Colours and new DSPs.  Hope you like it!

Happy Birthday! O....and more sneak peeks?

Stop time!  I want to savour our grandchildren's childhood, but they're growing up too fast!  May has been an epic month for birthdays and we're celebrating the fifth one this month. Our little man is no longer that little having reached his 10th birthday yesterday.  I remember the day he was born so clearly and can't believe that he'll be a teenager in 3 years time and I know how quickly that will come round.

He's very sporty and has been "Man of the Match" on several occasions and naturally we're extremely proud of him.  There are stamp sets and dies that I've hung on to even though they've been retired, and I am so glad I did because they are just perfect for our "footy" mad grandsons.  I shall be hanging on to the T-shirt bundle for sure!

My football knowledge is a little sketchy, so I had to google it to find out what colour the football strip was for their team. The Leeds away strip is Pacific Point, and Daffodil Delight in Stampin' Up! speak.

The lettering "Happy Birthday" is from a new die available 1st June and there is a stamp set that coordinates with it too.

I was able to create it using the retiring Custom Tee Bundle  and do you recognise the football and emblem for inside the card?  It's a stamp set called "Great Sport" and I'm so glad I didn't let it go! You're probably wondering about the little die cut letters inside - something else that has retired, but I'm a squirrel - and hung on to that too!!!  Method in the madness and drives hubby mad with all the stuff I have!

Will have to have a clear out soon, for sure!

Happy Sunday!

Cute Floral Boutique Box & another sneak peek!

I have been able to sneak  a little sneak peek in my May videos!  Just scratching the surface, but I am hoping you're enjoying seeing what will be available from 1 June!  This week it's about the papers and playing with my old friend the Envelop Punch Board.  Enjoy!
