Inspiring Inkin Challenge #5

The challenge "Threesome" was to use a trio of materials, whether it be stamps, card stock, DSP, brads, ribbon, ink pads and so on.

So I elected to do an accordion fold card which perfectly displayed the tall vase image in the Scene in a Garden stamp set from the Mini Catalogue. I used 3 Very Vanilla strips on which I stamped the little bird in Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Ruby Red. I stamped 3 more bird images on the sticky part of a post-it note which I then cut out to use as masks before stamping the vase image in the same colours on top and removing the masks afterwards.

I distressed the edges of all three strips, added 3 co-ordinated bits of ribbon and then matted on to co-ordinating card stock in the same colours which were then matted on to Very Vanilla. I used 3 co-ordinating pieces of DSP from Haiku which were adhered to the first, third and fifth panel of the accordion folded card, also in Very Vanilla. For the third stamp, I used the Oval All sentiment "just for you" which I cut out and raised on dimensionals. For the finishing touch, I added 3 buttons on the end panel.

Hope you like it. Thanks for stopping by.
