Inspiring Inkin' # Challenge 19

This fortnight's Inspiring Inkin' challenge is a sketch challenge and the twist was to use a Sale-a-bration set.
Earlier in the week, I'd lost my mojo, but I found it again when this lovely Bella Toile background stamp was delivered by our favourite Courier - UPS on Thursday!
I inked the Bella Toile background stamp in Sage Green and stamped on Whisper White. It's a really simple card. The bird in a cage was stamped in versamark, silver embossed, adding detail in the four corners with a pricking mat and tool and layered on to textured Basic Black card stock and set aside. Next four 3/4" Basic Black circles were punched to create the scalloped edge as pictured above and the bird in a cage layers were adhered overlapping the Bella Toile layer. Lastly, I added the little bow above the cage.
I can't wait to see everyone else's creations and hope if you follow my blog, that you'll have a bash at it yourself by using the Mr Linky gadget at the bottom of the Inspiring Inkin' challenge post here

Stamps: Bella Toile, Happy Moments (Sale-a-bration set)
