I forgot to include this in my earlier post today. These were the reporter's notepads I decorated for my team who accompanied me to Amanda's Quarterly Meeting.
The colour combo here is Riding Hood Red, Baja Breeze and So Saffron. I love it - really vibrant and striking and very summery. It certainly makes the different layers of the die cut daisies pop. I used the surplus centres to make co-ordinated candy, applied crystal effects, dipped it in glitter and allowed it to dry thoroughly before adhering to the daisy centres.
I ran the "In Stitches" jumbo wheel across the Baja Breeze strip and punched both edges with the scallop trim border punch and personalised each note pad with their initials using the Broadsheet Alphabet.
To finish, I adhered a length of 1 1/4" Riding Hood Red striped grosgrain, snipped a fish tail at visible end and tucked the other end underneath the scalloped medallion.
