Grateful Bunch

Hi everyone!  I hope you all had a lovely christmas!  We've barely got over that and now there's the New Year's Eve celebration to look forward to.  We had a quiet christmas as our children were celebrating in their own homes this year and we decided to eat out on Christmas Day.

Everyone will be descending on us over the New Year break so I'm looking forward to having them all round our dinner table on New Year's Day.  Note to self - must remember to defrost that joint! My family are just totally awesome and I am totally grateful for how they enrich my life - which leads me to the "Grateful Bunch" stamp set featured in this video.

More teasers? Birthday Blooms anyone?

Every attendee at the Stampin' Up! OnStage Live event in Brussels, November 2015, received this stamp set called Birthday Blooms. Click on the photo to enlarge it and you'll see a hint of sparkle! You'll just fall in love with this Wink of Stella brush - apply the bling without the ming! (urban rhyming slang wot!)

Loving our thick white cardstock - so show your support and stock up on it lest Stampin' Up! retires it from lack of interest!  They're great for one layer cards and for stamping and colouring on as you can see from this card.

Sunday and a Sneak Peek! Which one is it going to be?

All shopped out?  Christmas frenzy wrapping presents, cooking, dealing with relatives or excited children - it's time for "A Nice Cuppa" !!!  Yes, the stamp set is really called "A Nice Cuppa"!

January 5th is D-Day for the new Spring/Summer 2016 catalogue - it's early!  Not only that - we have Sale-a-bration too, more about that in another post.

How many new things can you spot? In fact except for the silver doilies, and the silver foil and cardstock, the whole lot is NEW!!!!

This suite is tailor made for the Brits, don't you think?  Delicious "Have a Cuppa" 6" x 6" DSP stack, die cuts to match - the teaspoon, cup and heart only scratches the surface!  There's even new Bermuda Bay stitched ribbon to match that card stock!

Squeals in excitement - I especially love those "Have a Cuppa" metal embellishments you can see hanging from the ribbon!

So if Christmas is getting you frazzled.............

Have a great day and watch out for more info on my forthcoming Spring/Summer Launch Party!

Crisp, clean cuts with Stampin' Up!'s   Precision Base Plate, use in lieu of the base cutting plate! Heaven!  Watch out for a sneak peek from forthcoming Spring/Summer 2016 catalogue!

Embossing Muslin Bag

I'm revisiting a technique I did in 2013. Stampin' Up! carry all sorts of gift packaging, one of them are the muslin bags.  You can stamp on them, but I find that embossing on them makes it more durable.   For more information, you can view it here.  This is just a recap except I've used a higher heat setting for the iron in this video.

Pre-christmas sale!!! What great timing!  If you haven't got your christmas presents yet - what better way than to place an online order!

As with all sales, availability is only while supplies last - so the best way to get your hands on your heart's desire is to place an online order and the items will be shipped directly to you.

Don't forget to use the Host/Hostess code option at checkout - you will receive extra goodies together with my personal Thank You card too you.

If your order is £150 or more, DO NOT use the code as you will qualify for your own Stampin' Rewards.  This is in addition to the goodies included with my Thank You card to you.  Make sure you TICK the box "Allow my Demonstrator to Contact me" so I can see your details.  If you don't, I won't be able to give you the customer service you deserve as I won't know who you are, and that makes me sad.

The Last ordering date for Christmas Delivery is

Saturday 13th December 2015

The Stampin' Up! warehouse will be closed between 16-18 December for Annual Stocktaking. Normal shipping will resume after the weekend on 21 December 2015

One Stamp Set - 5 different looks!

This post is picture heavy!  I used the "Wonderland" stamp set and created 5 different looks!

Blushing Bride and Silver embossed and added Project Life's "Hello December 2015" stamp set........

Added Jingle all the Way stamp set,  reindeer clip and trimmed pom pom for Rudolp's nose

Early Espresso, gold glimmer frame (centre cut out to conserve paper), gold embossing on Whisper White layer as well as vellum layer!

Soft Suede and gold embossed on the box and on the card - with the help of a stamp-a-majig, I stamped a wreath, home for christmas button and the bow builder punch.   So which of these is your favourite?

Wondering what's in the custom-made boxes?  I can't reveal the contents just yet as they were little gifts I brought back from Brussels.  They're different colours to match what's inside!

Stamping hugs and smiles!  :-) !

New Fun Fridays!

In October I introduced Fright Fridays, November - Fall Fridays so from here on in, welcome to Fun Fridays - so expect the unexpected.

Today's video is all about sharing those wonderful swaps I received at Stampin' Up!'s inaugural OnStage Live event (formerly known as Convention) - are you with me?  Grab a cuppa, put your feet up and feast your eyes on all the fab creations!

Please forgive me if I've mis-pronounced your name or forgotten to include your fab creation here - I found a few more after I'd finished the video and it was too late to capture it on film.

These were the team and roomie gifts I made.

Here's the general swap I made.

Seasonal Snapshot & Acorny combo

Seasonal Snapshot 2015 from Project Life has a couple of stamps that resemble stitching.  I couldn't resist marrying this with the Acorny Thank You stamp set to produce this little beauty.  Who says that these stamps are exclusively for memory keeping?  If it's a stamp, you can use it to stamp anything, even cards!

I've omitted posting a photo of the inside of the card as it would've been a spoiler!  You'll just have to watch the video!  enjoy!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi everyone!  Happy Thanksgiving to all those who observe the tradition.  This year, in particular after the tragedy which unfolded in Paris, I am so thankful that those of us who attended OnStage Live got home safe and sound.  I expect, dear reader, you feel the same too that this world is so wicked in some ways because of the few who want to maim and taint our lives with their misguided beliefs all in the name of their religion.

NOT in my name!  I am thankful for you, for my family, for food on the table and so much more so I made this card to say "I'm Grateful For You".

This card holds a little surprise!

Sandwiched between the front and back of the card is a window sheet where I stuck the leaf.

I used the mirror stamping technique for the opposite leaf and re-traced the lines of the leaf left by the faint mirrored stamping.  I explained the technique in this post here.

Here are the supplies I used:

Happy, Happy Thanksgiving!
