At Home with You

Are you enjoying a relaxing Sunday?  The clocks go back here in the UK and I hope those of you who live here managed to get your extra hour of sleep today!

A little tease - aka as a sneak peek!  Coming very soon - Stampin' Blends "remix",  but I'll cover that more extensively in a video next week so watch out for it!

I thought I'd share a card I made recently which I used on this card from the "At Home with You" Bundle.  This is the kind of colouring I like, clean simple lines, not too detailed and quick to do but still pleasing and satisfying to the eye.  Having used them, I can confirm that they are a joy to work with!  No complicated numbering system as you might find with some other brands of alcohol markers, and the colours work well with our existing card stock, ribbon and inks!

There are two wreaths in this stamp set, one  with holly leaves which you can use for christmas, and of course this more generic one which can be used for any occasion - in this instance it was for a new home.

I'm not sure if anyone in real life would actually have a Powder Pink front door but one is allowed to channel their artistic prerogative on paper, right?  So I selected Powder Pink Stampin' Blends in light and dark and coordinated it with the Smoky Slate in light and dark too.  The shimmery powder pink ribbon coordinates beautifully with it!

I hope the recipient liked it.  Do you think the pink vs grey works?

Oh, by the way the Stampin' Blends will be available for purchase as of 1 November, so there isn't long to wait!

There's a chill in the air,  the days are drawing in and Halloween is two nights away!   That definitely heralds the beginning of autumn!

TTFN!!!  Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
