Brusho, Epic Celebration and Ombre Stamping!

Last Sunday, I had my team training and this was one of the cards they made.  They also had the opportunity to use my Stamparatus to try out the hinged ombre stamping technique - a double whammy for sure!  Instead of me waffling - why don't you watch it instead?

The Stamparatus will enhance the way you stamp, but let's not forget that there is always a little stamping by traditional methods which has its virtues too.  Enjoy!

Did you know that if you click on the pictures, it will take you direct to the item in my online store which will give you more detail on the product and you can place an order if you wish.  It would be very much appreciated.

Please note that the Epic Celebrations stamp set is a Sale-A-Bration item which you can get FREE with a £45 purchase excluding shipping and handling.

The Stamparatus is a pre-order item which you could order during the pre-order windows last year and these windows have now closed.  However, it will be available to order in the new 2018-19 Annual Catalogue in June 2018.

Awards gift wrapped!

I'm a little late posting this as I don't want to spoil the surprise for my team and to say that I'm looking forward to seeing them as well as a  stampin' sister who is an Honorary member of the Inkin' Divas team this afternoon and  I can't wait to share the projects I've created for today.

It's extra special because my direct team get to pick up their goodies today - an award from me in recognition of their sales and recruiting in the last financial year.  It was a voucher to spend on the spring/summer catalogue, so I couldn't order it until after it went live on January 3rd, and this is the first opportunity I've had to meet up after the new year!  Needless to say, their goodies got the Stampin' Up! treatment.

Thanks for visiting today, enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Let the Good Times Roll Bundle

When my son was knee high to a grasshopper, he loved the thrill of a roller coaster ride - let's face it, don't we all?  I was blown away by the pop-up roller coaster for the inside of the card and I knew I had to have it!  Even though my son's all grown up now, I don't think he's too old for a fun card like this so I made this for his birthday today.

Did you know that if you click on the pictures, it will take you direct to the item in my online store which will give you more detail on the product and you can place an order if you wish.  It would be very much appreciated.

Barn Door Bundle meets Party Pandas!

Do you love interactive cards?  I do!  Love 'em, love 'em, love 'em!  I nearly missed this, but am so glad someone pointed me in that direction.

When you first look at it, you'll probably scratch your head and wonder what else you can do with it - but apart from the obvious, it's what's behind it that matters.  What I love is that it is non-gender specific, so you can make it girly or masculine, whatever takes your fancy - and we ALWAYS looking for ways to get the most mileage out of one stamp set, right?

I envisage cards for folk who love the out-doors, or love horses, barn dancing - I could go on - today I've used the Party Panda set!

Please note that the Party Pandas stamp set in Clear Mount or Wood Mount is not for sale and can only be earned through a qualifying order of £45 excluding shipping/handling during the Sale-A-Bration period from 3 January - 31 March 2018.

The washers I used were 1/2" in diameter and the hole in the centre  was 1/8".  In metric that would be 1.3 cm in diameter and the hole in the middle measures 0.3 cm.

Team Swaps

Yesterday I drove down to Portsmouth to attend a Team Meeting and meet up with my Stampin' Sisters.  I can't believe how quickly time flies by - it seems like only yesterday when we were ringing in the new year and here we are nearly at the end of January!

One of the traditions, or practices, if you like, is that whenever we get together, we make swaps - it's not compulsory, but nice if you can make the time.  Why? I hear you ask - it's an exchanging of ideas between fellow demonstrators.  Contrary to popular belief, we don't own the whole catalogue, however tempting that may be, so someone else might have a stamp set you don't have, and if you have the sample they've made, you have something to physically share with your own customers or team. Usually they will be card fronts or a 3D project using current product lines, strictly Stampin' Up! of course!

New in our Spring/Summer catalogue, we have these tall narrow cards measuring 4.5" x 2.5" when closed - so I thought it would make a nice change if I actually made cards this time, instead of card fronts.  I didn't have any of these narrow note cards and envelops in hand (not in the quantity required), so I cut my own card stock to make these.

I chose to work with the Fruit Basket Bundle and Tutti Frutti 6"x 6" DSP stack.  What I loved about the size of the cards  was that it was quite economical.       Out of a 6"x 6" DSP sheet, I could cut 4 x 2" x 4" pieces with just a 2" x 2" piece left over.  In metric that's 15.2 x 15.2 cm DSP sheet yielding four 5 cm x 10.2 cm pieces with just 5 cm x 5 cm piece left over from each sheet.

So as not to waste the square pieces, I simply butted up the 2 left over pieces to make up another 2" x 4" piece and joined the two with a piece of washi tape!  See if you can spot which one it is in the picture below.

The images from the Fruit Basket stamp set are tiny -  perfectly proportioned for these cards and I love those little punches which coordinate with the stamp set.

Here's the list of supplies I used.  I used 2 sheets of 3 designs - 6 sheets of 6"x 6" DSP and made 27 little cards!

Happy Sunday!
