Pop of Petals - Kraft Pillow Boxes

Blink, and you'll miss these gorgeous pre-printed Kraft Pillow Boxes.  They're tucked away in the  Paper & Packaging Basics section on pages 192-3 and are perfect for those little items like lip balm, or sweets and teachers' gifts.  This can be something the kids can easily get involved in to show their appreciation for their teachers. It's simply stamping, punching and sticking - depending on their age, a little fussy cutting which may need supervision!

Dandelion Wishes meets Bokeh Dots

Have you ever felt daunted by needing to produce lots of thank you cards and having to discard ones that have just missed the mark slightly and looks crooked?

Stampin' Up!'s stamp positioning tool has solved that problem and made my life a whole lot easier and I love mine and certainly wouldn't be without it now.  Each card stamped is an exact replica of the one before.  Once you've placed the stamps in the position you want, you can stamp to your heart's content, change out the colours and have the same layout - it looks pretty in whatever colour!

Use this host code before you check out to receive a gift from me, if your order exceeds £150, then you don't need to use the host code as you can keep the rewards for yourself.

Painted Glass

I had to make a sympathy card recently, and the Graceful Glass 6"x 6" (15.2 x 15.2 cm) Designer Vellum from the Painted Glass Suite fitted the bill.  Sympathy cards are the kind of cards which you don't want to make, because it means that someone near and dear has passed on and it's hard for those left behind.

Words seem inadequate at these times but if you can take the time to make a card to let them know you're thinking of them and sharing in their sorrow too, hopefully that will bring some comfort in their hour of need.

I used a mixture of markers and Stampin' Blends to colour on the back of the vellum and adhered it to some Whisper White card stock.  I was lucky that I had the "Tea Room" combo ribbon pack which picked out some of the blue in the stained glass "window" as I didn't have any Gorgeous Grape or Highland Heather ribbon in hand.

Unfortunately in my pack, the pattern on one side had been cut short - but I worked around it and made use of it rather than discarding it in the trash can.  The ribbon masked the flaw in the paper and you'd be none the wiser (winks).

The sentiment for the inside of the card is from Flourishing Phrases.

Wherever you are, whoever you're with, just hold them closer and a little tighter - we are all mortal and our time together is finite.

Big hugs to you all and thanks for stopping by.

Treat Time!

I've been making sour cream treat containers for years, but still manage to get muddled up as to where I should put my tape for sealing it!

Hooray!  Stampin' Up! brought out a die that has different toppers to add interest to the humble sour cream container and they fit the main die frame like a jigsaw!

Love it!

Bouquet Blooms Gatefold

Isn't it cool that you can now make a gatefold card without worrying about measurements?  Even better is the unique leaf and floral edges to make it even more special!

Enter - the Gatefold Blossoms Framelits dies!  These cards when closed measure 3-1/2" x 5" which is a note card envelop size.  You can use the envelops from the "Notecards & Envelops packs" to put them in, or you can use your Envelop Punch Board to make a bespoke one.

It goes without saying that the stamps which co-ordinate with the dies can be used for normal sized cards too and should you desire, you can use them to stamp on your Scrapbooking projects!

Here's the supplies list I used.
