Ruby Anniversary Card

Good day everyone! With the time zone differences, my morning here in UK may be your night or afternoon depending which part of the world you are so "good day" covers all time zones!

I am ashamed to say that I have had this "Half Full" stamp set for over a year and it hasn't seen ink until recently.  Having had a reprieve as it's back for another year in this year's 2018-19 Annual Catalogue, I thought I'd better pull my finger out and make something with it!

My Sister-in-law and her husband just celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary and if truth be known, I was flummoxed as the "Number of Years and Large Numbers Framelits Dies" were retired as of 31 May this year.

They say every cloud has a silver lining - and searching through my stash I eventually came up with this.

Have you tried the new Tufted Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder?  It looks like the upholstery on Chesterfield Leather settees and gives the embossed card stock a really lush look.  I used the new "Merry Merlot" card stock in the new Neutrals colour collection.

Remember the "Share What you Love" promotion back in May?  You can see it HERE .  I used the "Make A Difference" photopolymer stamp set to spell out the phrase "on your Ruby Anniversary" on scraps of WW card stock then fussy cut the phrases to adhere to the card front Tufted embossed layer.  The "congratulations" came from Floral Phrases and last but not least the bottle of wine  from "Half Full".   I added clear Wink of Stella after I coloured the wine bottle in Merry merlot with an aqua painter.  If you hold it up to the light, it glistens!

For the inside of the card, I masked the rest of the wine glasses and only inked up the wine glass on the end to stamp this pair of glasses.

Stamping the tiny alphabet photopolymer stamps  was time consuming, but the end result was worth it in the end.  I hope they liked their card!

Here's the supply list - if you click on the pictures it will take you directly to the item in my online store.
