Last Call November Snowflakes Showcase

Going, going, GONE !!!!  Just 2 days left to get your hands on these gorgeous snowflakes which also contains other useful elements like flowers and leaves.  The largest snowflake can be used as a doily so this isn't just for the winter season or christmas - you can use it all year round!

In today's project, I used it to make a congratulatory card - how diverse can that get?  I love mine and I sincerely hope it will come back in our next Annual Catalogue - who knows?

Long Overdue - gone but not forgotten!

Oh dear, I forgot to share this!

I know this set has been retired, but I found it really difficult to part with and I think it's going to be a keeper. I tell a lie, in fact there are two sets - the Sunshine & Rainbows bundle as well as the Magical Day Bundle!  In my opinion, they were retired prematurely and I haven't yet had my fill of them.

This is a birthday card I made for one of the twins who adores unicorns and I'm keeping these two stamp sets for more birthdays to come!  It'll be an exercise in just how many different cards I can make with these stamps and dies!

Here is my rainbow colour palette using some of our new-ish colours

R - Poppy Parade
O - Grapefruit Grove
Y - So Saffron
G - Shaded Spruce
B - Balmy Blue
I  - Blueberry Bushel
V - Gorgeous Grape

I have not provided any product links for this card as the stamps and dies have retired.

Thanks for popping by today!  Have a fabulous week!

Christmas Countdown Series #10 of 12 - Candy Cane Stocking filler

I found these large candy canes which are approximately 7-1/4" in length and 2-1/4" in width at the crook end and it had been on my radar to use them as stocking fillers rather than hanging them on a tree.

As I wanted the candy cane to stand out, I decided to make my own bespoke DSP  - quite therapeutic when you're stamping repetitive patterns!

Just a tip when you're doing this project, assemble the pouch first before you adhere the stamped panel !

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!

This year I remembered to check the date for Thanksgiving and it is today - so a special post to wish all my American friends across the pond Happy  Thanksgiving day!

I used the Winter Woods stamp set for my background, Country Home for my sentiment and for the inside of the card, Sheltering Tree.

To capture the autumnal hues, I went to town with my ink pads - old favourites like Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive and the new ones like Mango Melody and Merry Merlot  and Gray Granite!

Have a wonderful day with your families, friends and loved ones!

Happy, Happy Thanksgiving Day!
