Talk about down to the wire! It seems such a long time ago. I was waiting, and waiting, for the Embossing Folders to ship - they were on back order and as luck would have it, it arrived the day before our Team Meeting in June and I was making things for my Display.
As with the Magnolia flower, the image was supersized in a 6" x 6" 3D Embossing folder so I had to make a special sized card for it too. The card base was 6" x 12" Mossy Meadow to make a card 6" square so that I could show off the embossed images to its full potential.
Mossy Meadow was too dark to be left as a monotone card, and it needed lifting with a Petal Pink mat layer 5-3/4" square. I stamped some leaves in Mossy Meadow in the opposite corners to peek out and distressed the Mossy Meadow embossed layer. The corners were folded back using dimensionals to keep the folds open and preserve its shape.
To finish I used the Magnolia Lane Ribbon combo pack, the open work die cut in Petal Pink and some Magnolia Lane cork embellishments.
