Christmas Countdown #5 of 12 - Frosted Foliage Pigment Sprinkles

I have been desperate to have Stampin' Up!'s own brand of Pigment Sprinkles!  Why? ...because they are Stampin' Up!'s  own colour palette which will coordinate with our current inks so it was worth the wait!  At time of writing, the Sprinkles finally got the green light from German Customs and they are available for sale in our online store!  Yippee!

Bank Holiday Monday at the end of August, I set aside some time to have a play, and I don't know if the powders got "shaken and stirred"  in transit, because even though the lids were firmly closed, there was a dusting of crystals on the containers, so as soon as my hands got wet, I was covered in ink!  lol!  I cared NOT a jot - I was just SO happy to have them!  This is my first attempt.

Have you tried Stampin' Up!'s new Fluid 100 water colour paper?  It's the bees' knees and the smoother texture gives fabulous results.  Enough chit chat - I'm sure you'd like to see it in action!  I used an emboss resist technique which entails stamping in versamark and then heat embossing with white embossing powder.

Ooh - and there's more!  The Feels Like Frost Suite has some new mediums too - I used the new Shimmery Crystal effects which is a thick glue with white and silver flecks in it - pity you can't see it properly in the photo, but I put a thin line below the ground that the snowman is standing on and sprinkled the new ice stampin' glitter on it.  They've used this on the Let It Snow specialty DSP I showcased in an earlier post.

What do you think - do you approve?
