Sneak Peek - Coordination Product Release

I have a sneak peek for you today!  Stampin' Up! are releasing five sets of dies which will coordinate  with stamp sets from the Mini catalogue as well as Sale-A-Bration brochure, as well as some Designer Series Paper called "Pleased as Punch" on February 4th, and it will be available for sale up until 31 March while stocks last.

I'm featuring the Nature's Thoughts Dies (#153586 not available till February 4th) which coordinates with Positive Thoughts Stamp set #151490 in the Mini.  This set completely passed me by, but now I have it, I love it!  It's got an image of Maidenhair Fern - there are different species, and the Delta maidenhair fern is one that I grew up with in the Tropics.

Having the dies to match is fabulous!  It leaves the butterfly's antennae attached!  Oftentimes a punch or die doesn't incorporate the antennae - how can they find their way without them, so this makes me really happy!  lol!

Do you fancy another sneak peek?  I've showed off the "Pleased as Punch" DSP too, so press play and see for yourself!

Please be aware that although I've provided the link to Nature's Thoughts Dies, this will not be activated for customers until 4 February, so please do not use it until then.

Botanical Prints Medley

Which type of Crafter are you?

New to stamping - a Beginner?

Love adding that personal touch and craft when you have the spare time - a Casual Crafter

or

Want it all, have it all, live and breath paper crafting - an Avid Crafter!

When Stampin' Up! first brought out the Product Medley kits, they bypassed me altogether.  They were for the passionate crafter - and I'm probably guilty as charged!  However, when I dipped my toe in, especially now that it's Sale-A-Bration, at the Medley's higher price point, it enables you to get free stuff from the Sale-A-Bration brochure.

It's worth every penny - it has a stamp set, the dies, 48 sheets of 6 x 6" DSP, laser cuts for card fronts, pre-die cut images, ribbon and metal embellishments and it was a joy to create with.  I don't normally colour, but felt compelled to try colouring some of the black and white floral images and was delighted with the result.

There is a video tutorial on how I made this, with Bloopers and all - I've kept them in rather than edit it out - it was just one of those days when everything went wrong!!!!  Enjoy it - warts and all!

Here is the cutting guide I promised:

Layered with Kindness Birthday Card

Happy Sunday!

Eek!  Can you believe we're almost at the end of January and it seems like yesterday when we were bidding 2019 a fond farewell!

Do you love punches?  Well, I love these two new punches which can be used separately but work beautifully together for layering the stamped label from the Layered with Kindness stamp set.  You'll find it on page 41 of the current January-June 2020 Mini catalogue.

The Layered with Kindness stamp set is a "Dist-INK-tive" stamp set with light and dark shading incorporated in the red rubber of the stamp to give you a three dimensional look just by inking and stamping once with the same stamp.  The larger sprig of leaves were stamped in Pretty Peacock and Mint Macaron.  The flowers were stamped in Petal Pink.

I white embossed on Pretty Peacock card stock and stamped the same image in Pretty Peacock on Very Vanilla card stock.  The White embossed image was punched out with the Label me Lovely punch, and the Very Vanilla label was punched with the Label me Fancy punch.  I then adhered the "Happy Birthday" to the Pretty Peacock label with dimensionals.

The sentiment for the inside of the card is from "So Sentimental" which you can find on page 20.

Here are the supplies I used.

Thanks for visiting!  I'll be back soon!
